Combined face cleansing

Information on combined facial skin cleansing procedure
The procedure of combined face cleansing is deemed to be one of the most demanded procedures at Deva Clinique. It combines two types of cleansing – mechanical and ultrasonic. In the course of mechanical cleansing cosmetologists treat deep pores by removing comedones, sebaceous plugs, blackheads. The procedure is finished with ultrasound to remove the keratinous layer of the epidermis, smoothen the skin surface and normalize the functioning of sebaceous glands. Both methods perfectly complement one another allowing skin cleansing with maximum effect.
Main indications to combined facial skin cleansing:
- Enlarged pores with impurities, blackheads.
- Grayish or uneven skin tone.
- Blackheads (comedones, sebaceous plugs).
Course of facial skin cleansing:
The procedure is started with the removal of residual makeup using special professional remover (milk or tonic). Often our cosmetologists perform preliminary skin cleansing with gommage scrubs. Then serums containing fruit acids are applied to a patient’s skin to decompose the remaining impurities.
When the skin is properly purified and prepared to manipulations it is treated with a steamer or special skin softening gel to open pores. This preparation takes 20 minutes.
As soon as the pores are ready to purification the ultrasonic scrub procedure is started. It is intended to remove all dead skin cells from the upper epidermis layer. After that a cosmetologist carries out mechanical pore cleansing by extracting comedones and blackheads using a special tool.
The next step of the procedure is application of antibacterial mask to the facial skin. It can properly disinfect microtraumas on the skin surface which were caused during mechanical cleansing. Sometimes a doctor can perform a violet ray procedure before applying a mask.
Finally, our cosmetologist applies an alginate mask to close the open pores. This mask is washed out in 20 minutes. A thin layer of soothing cream or restoration serum is applied to the skin.
This cosmetic procedure is completely painless. However, some flushing can occur after it but they will subside in a few hours. After cleansing it is not recommended to visit the places where the skin can be exposed to UV (solariums, beaches) and saunas. After thorough examination a doctor will advise you on the cleansing frequency so you would be able to select a line of cosmetic products for care at home correctly.
Procedure duration:
Average combined facial skin cleansing procedure takes 1 hour. There is no need to undergo the deep facial skin cleansing more frequently then once every 2 or 3 months.
Results of facial skin cleansing:
After combined facial skin cleansing a patient’s skin gains an even healthy tone. It becomes tender and soft. Oily shine vanishes, pores get narrower. General skin condition improves considerably.
Further care at home is of great importance. If a patient follows all cosmetologist’s recommendations the effect of cleansing will last longer.
