In psychology, the realm of the mind is conventionally divided into behavioural, emotional, and cognitive domains.
As we well know, the emotional domain acts as an integrator of all mental activities and shapes your attitudes from the beloved to the unpalatable. One’s current emotional state can be checked through systems that read and recognise facial expressions.
The cognitive domain includes: attention, memory, intellect, thinking, and language. The cognitive domain is tied to descriptive knowledge, i.e., how the world actually is. The cognitive domain is studied through intelligence tests and aptitude tests. The temporal lobe of the brain is responsible for the cognitive domain.
However, there is also a metacognitive domain, which pertains to prescriptive/imperative knowledge. That is, not about how the world truly is, but how it ought to be. In other words, it’s the ability to independently create a model of one’s happy future, a step-by-step plan of implementation with current monitoring, as well as the ability to adjust the execution of this plan based on circumstances.

This direction is represented by the creation of a series of programs “Aware of the Unconscious” on the media platform Online.ua. From the standpoint of psychology and neuropsychology, they discuss current issues of war, rehabilitation, and neutralisation of enemy propaganda live on air, and they also talk about recent advancements in psychological sciences.
In today’s realities, the publication of these articles serves as counter-propaganda in the information war between the aggressor – the Russian Federation and the pro-Ukrainian coalition of democratic countries.
