Immunology

Immunology is a branch of medicine that covers all aspects of the human immune system. Its goal is to study the human body defense system, causes of immunodeficiency disorders, triggers of allergies, and develop the most efficient methods of controlling them. The material for immunology researches are antibodies and antigens in human blood, their properties, structure, genetic links and interaction with each other. The information obtained by scientists in the course of immunology researches is used not only for treatment of a wide variety of diseases but for their prevention as well.
Symptoms of immunity disorders:
If a decrease in the immune system function is observed the body defenses loose the capability to combat the viruses and pathogenic bacteria. This causes inflammatory processes.
If a person feels chronic fatigue, gets tired quickly, can’t fall asleep peacefully, feels severe headache it tells about the weakened immunodefenses. So, a patient becomes vulnerable to viruses and bacteria.
The signs of immune system failure are frequent colds with muscle ache, fever, purulent discharges from nose and throat. If a person falls ill more than 5 timer a year it means the immune system is underperforming as it is deemed normal to get sick maximum 3 times per year. When a patient has illness caused by underperforming immunity he or she also experiences the manifestation of herpes and gastrointestinal tract disorders. If all or some of these symptoms are available, one should contact a doctor for further examination and relevant treatment.
Methods of weakened immunity treatment:
Immunology uses a number of methods aimed at correct diagnostics of diseases caused by underperforming immunity. Biochemical blood and urine tests are carried out. Their results show what caused a disease and which treatment method would have maximum effect.
The usage of biological medicines and vaccines are one of the main methods applied in immunology for treatment and preventions of diseases of different etiology. These medicines are produced using high-tech and genetic engineering.
At Deva Clinique we offer our patients autolymphocyte therapy (immunotherapy) which is one on the best methods of immunity support.
Autolymphocyte therapy (immunotherapy) is a technique of immunity stimulation using white blood cells obtained from a patient’s own blood. This method can be applied to prevent flu and other acute respiratory infections.
According to statistics:
- There are more than 200 types of acute respiratory infections.
- Many people fall ill with acute respiratory infections more than three times a year.
- Most such diseases occur in autumn and winter periods.
- During influenza pandemic each 5th person gets sick.
- Every year about 2 million people die of acute respiratory infections.
Effect of immunotherapy course:
- Obstructive bronchitis incidence decreases
- Number of acute cases of chronic tonsillitis decreases
- Susceptibility to acute respiratory infections decreases
